Why I don't eat popcorn anymore

Most of you know already what an ordeal I've been through because of that one unpopped kernel. Well, today I had to have the post implanted. I know this isn't such a big deal for most of you - although Donna Webster & Amy Harden will understand what I went through!

In the past, I've always warned doctors BEFORE they began a medical procedure and nothing has happened the past couple of times, so I didn't say anything to the Oral Surgeon, letting him think I was normal. Of course he found out otherwise. As soon as he finished & left the room, I started feeling nauseous so I got out of the chair to get some water. That was a mistake ...... I was so light-headed that I almost didn't make it back to the chair! That's when he walked back into the room. So then I had to stay reclined in the chair with a cool cloth on my head until I thought I'd convinced them I was fine. I'm not sure they believed it because they insisted on escorting me out to my car!

I think the worst is over now. I now have to wait 4 months before they can screw the new tooth in place. I forget why it takes 4 months......maybe to make sure I don't reject it or for it to adhere to the bone or something to that effect. Not sure I would have gone this route if I knew how long it would take (almost a year) and the pain/mental anguish involved.

Ever wonder why Peter watches DWTS?

Many of you may wonder why Peter is willing to watch DWTS every week and go on these roadtrips with me. Here is a picture of one of the reasons.

We had a good time, but were disappointed in the show this year. Helio & Julianne only danced twice. Drew Lachey, Joey Lawrence & Wayne Newton were the only other STARS who performed and it was very painful listening to Wayne try to sing. He said it all when he thanked the fans for their applause - all 2 of them! Not sure if he meant it as a joke, but his performance really was bad.

DWTS Roadshow

I know you all think this is lame, but we are going to another Dancing with The Stars Roadshow.....this time in Jacksonville.....with the usual groupies.

Kalli's visit

It's been almost a week since Kalli left and we are still finding toys ........ in some of the strangest places! We had such a good visit with her. Peter enjoyed taking her for rides in the golf cart - visiting the horses and looking for alligators. They found several, but the most memorable one was Big AL (he is 8 or 12 feet long, depending on who you ask)

NYE
